The diploma in mechanical engineering with 55% marks from the recognised institution.

The age limit is 25 years.
The candidate must be fully fit for sea services under all norms.
Eye sight should be 6/12 in both eyes.
No colour blindness.

The candidate must be very good command over the English language.

There are lots of colleges/universities offering this course, you can join the same after your diploma.
