Is 2 years Lateral Entry Diploma course equivalent to 3 years Diploma in Engineering course? I am doing Lateral Entry Diploma in Engineering after 12th.

Yes, 2 years Lateral Entry Diploma in Engineering course is equivalent to 3 years Engineering Diploma course. The 11th and 12th standards you have pursued will be equal to first engineering Diploma course. That means, your 11th and 12th standards along with 2 years Lateral Entry Diploma in Engineering will be considered as equivalent to 3 years Diploma Engineering course.

* The candidates who completed their diploma can directly get into btech 2nd year through lateral entry .
