The aspirants those who have completed their 3 years diploma course after matriculation or 2 years diploma after 10+2 in Biotechnology or related fields from an Institution affiliated with State Board of Technical Education or from a recognized University are eligible. They should have scored at least 60% marks (55% for SC / ST candidates) or equivalent in diploma. Â Furthermore, the candidates must also have qualified LEET-TU with minimum 20% marks in aggregate (15% for SC/ST candidates). Besides to the above mentioned eligibility criteria, the candidates should be an Indian citizen with a good moral background.

The exam will be having 2 sections covering questions of general and professional type. Altogether, there will be 150 questions which the candidates need to answer in 180 minutes.
