Hello Sir,
I am studying B.Tech in Mumbai and taken
Rs. 3.6 Lacs Education Loan from
State Bank of Patiala.
But my college has increased the semester fees.
So, this Bank can also increase my Loan?

No, it is not possible to increase the loan amount directly if your college has increased the semester fees. The loan amount is sanctioned at the beginning of the course for which you need to follow certain norms and comply with various terms and conditions which were approved by the principal of the bank. So if you want your loan amount to get increased, there will be certain more norms and terms and conditions. Hence you need to do the following :-

- Write an application addressing to the principal of the bank.
- State your request with the genuine reason behind it.
- Attach prove of the increased semester fees.
- Submit the letter to the branch manager of the bank from which you had taken education loan and request him/her to consider the matter and do the needful.
- If the principal of the bank allows, then only you will get more amount sanctioned as your loan.
