Can I get stipend from MHRD or UGC if my institute is not approved by AICTE?


sir,i am Gpat 2011 qualified with AIR 2230 and taken admission in Mpharm in university which is not aproved by AICTE,am i eligible and can i get stipend from MHRD or UGC,what is the procedure for aplying for stipend??plz rply.

Sorry to say that if your college is not approved by the AICTE OR UGC then you are not eligible for getting any scholarship. But if your college is approved by UGC rather then AICTE then surely you are eligible to get scholarships.

Basically your course and your university need to have approval from either AICTE or UGC. If your university don't have any approval from AICTE or UGC then you are not eligible to get any scholarship from anywhere.

I have take admission in private university which is UGC approved and my m.tech course is not approved by aicte.. I am also gate qualified.. can i will get stipend from mhrd?????
