Hello everyone, I am pursuing BCA and need an education loan for studying MCA course. But my father is a pensioner so he is not working. Can my sister act as a guarantor or is there any way I can get an education loan?

Any one can be a guarantor be it your family, or friend or some relative.
Guarantor must be a person to whom you can easily trust.
Guarantor must be a trustworthy person.
For loan above 7.5 lacs both collateral security and third party gurantee is required.
In fact some lenders also accept pensioners as a guarantor .
