Can anyone of you please let me know about the documents which are required to apply for an education loan under HDFC Bank Education Loan Scheme? I want to take an education loan for my MBA course. Please let me know about the necessary documents.

Normally, following documents will be required, when you are applying for HDFC bank education loan.

- Admission documents confirming your candidature

- Address proof and ID proof

- Bank statement of last 12 month of your and your guarantor

- Educational documents of previous qualifications

In addition to above, banks may ask for other documents too, if needed.

2. 6 months' bank statements
Self-employed:
1. Last 2 years' ITR
2. Last 2 years' Audited Balance sheet
3. 6 months' bank statements
4. Proof of Turnover
Self-employed Professional:
1. Last 2 years' ITR
2. Last 2 years' Audited Balance Sheet & P/L
3. 6 months' bank statements
4. Proof of Qualification
