Hello Sir/Madam, I am interested to apply in EDUSUM Loan Scheme of South Indian Bank. Can you please let me know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this scheme so that I can apply. Waiting for your response. Thank you!

The eligibility to apply for South Indian Bank EDUSUM Loan Scheme is given below.

--> The applicant must be a resident of India.
--> For graduate courses, the upper age limit of the applicant is 25 years and for postgraduate courses, it is 30 years.
--> An applicant must have scored at least 85% marks in each qualifying subject and overall 75% marks in the qualifying examination on the first attempt.
--> An applicant must have secured admission in higher studies at a recognized educational institute in India or Abroad.
--> The minimum income of parents must be Rs.705 Lakh per annum.

Eligibility

*Candidate must be an Indian National

*Eligible courses leading to graduate/PG/PG Diploma/with approval and university affiliation in India and job oriented professional/technical course .

*Securing 85% in each qualifying subjects and overall 75% in qualifying exam in the first attempt.

*Finance available for funding tution fees, exam, library, lab fees, books, equipment, hostel, uniform, insurance premium.

*Quantum of loan is course specific and ranges from 2.50 lacs to 10 lacs.

Age limit for graduate level is 25 yr and 30 yr for PG.
Nil collateral security upto 1 lacs.

Indian Nationals or NRI with an Indian passport.

The age limit for graduate-level is 25 yrs and 30 yrs for PG.

NIL margin up to Rs.4 lacs.

Documents required- Proof of Identity and Address , PAN of student as well as Parents, Offer/Admission letter.

Eligibility to apply for South Indian Bank EDUSUM Loan Scheme?

A minimum cut-off marks of 80% in those subjects which are considered as qualifying subjects and 75% in aggregate in HSC (10 plus 2 or equivalent) for such higher education in states where no separate entrance test is required for admission.
