Hello Sir, I have an MSc postgraduate in Ecology stream and I came to know that the IISER Kolkata Science and Engineering Research Board Junior Research Fellowship is published for 2020. I just want to know about the eligibility criteria to secure this fellowship? Please help me to know about the eligibility criteria asap. Thank you!

°°° To be eligible for IISER Kolkata Science and Engineering Research Board Junior Research Fellowship 2020, an applicant must:

Hold an Msc / MPhil / Mtech in biological Sciences / Ecology / botany / environmental science class Geography / Forestry / or closely allied subjects with at least 55% marks.

Have qualified at least one National level exam such as NET-LS/GATE/etc.

°°° The selected candidates will receive a consolidated amount of rupees 31000 per month.

Eligibility to secure IISER Kolkata Science and Engineering Research Board Junior Research Fellowship 2020 is as follows.

• Applicant must hold an MSc/M.Phil./M.Tech in Biological Sciences/Ecology/Botany/Environmental Science/Geography/Forestry/ or closely allied subjects, with at least 55% marks.

• Applicant must have qualified at least one national level exam such as NET-LS, GATE, JGEEBILS, or equivalent exams.
