Respected Sir/Madam, I am interested in applying for the Women Scientist Scheme-B (WOS-B). So, I would like to know how much I will get under this scholarship? Can you please let me know about the amount? Please let me know immediately.

Stipend is offered under Women Scientist Scheme-B (WOS-B) 2020 as follows:-
1. INR 55,000/- pm for Ph.D. or equivalent.

(Project Limit: 30 lakhs + HRA + Overhead)

2. INR 40,000/- pm for M.Phil./MTech or equivalent.

(Project Limit: 25 lakhs + HRA + Overhead)

3. INR 31,000/- pm for M.Sc

(Project Limit: 20 lakhs + HRA + Overhead)

Emoluments in this fellowship system have been split into the following slabs:

1. For Ph.D. graduates, there would be a fellowship of Rs. 55,000 p.m. Plus HRA,* The overall expense of the project does not exceed Rs.30 lakh, including overhead.

2. M.Phil./M.Tech. Students: Rs 40,000 Fellowship p.m. In addition, HRA would be paid to these students. The overall project expense does not surpass Rs 25 lakh, including overhead costs.

3. To the M.Sc. Students: 31,000 p.m. Plus HRA is likely to be billed. Total project costs should not exceed Rs 20 lakh, including overhead costs.

Important:The overall expense of the project to be sanctioned involves the above-mentioned Fellowship of Principal Investigator (PI), consumables, travel, contingencies and small appliances. HRA and overheads would be excluded, though.
