Insurance covered under Jharkhand Gramin Bank Education Loan scheme for MBBS aspirant?
Can anyone of you kindly provide me the details of the insurance covered in the Education Loan scheme offered in Jharkhand Gramin Bank? I want to study MBBS. I am going to apply an education loan in this bank so I want to know about the insurance.

For abroad education , all applicants of an education loan without collateral must purchase an education loan insurance .
It's a mandatory requirement that every student who applies for an education loan without collateral is expected to fulfill. The cost of insurance cover with education loan is 2-3% of loan size. The policy is of the value of loan and assigned in favour of bank . Banks offer this when they disburse loan and it's not made compulsory with the loan. |
