Please let me know that in the new scheme of Punjab National Bank which is PNB Pratibha Education Loan Scheme, there is any kind of margin also? I have searched alot but couldn’t get the answer. Please help me to know!

Details of margin under PNB Pratibha Education Loan scheme are mentioned below:-

—> Upto Rs. 4 lakhs :- NIL

—> Above Rs. 4 lakhs :- 5%

Scholarship/ Assistantship will be included in margin.

Margin details under PNB Pratibha education loan scheme are given below:

For students studying in IIMs, IITs, IIFTs, FMS-Delhi, NMIMS-Mumbai, JBIMS-Mumbai, Nirma Institute of Management-Ahmedabad, SPJIMR-Mumbai, SIBM-Pune, XIM-Bhubaneswar, MDI-Gurgaon, NITIE-Mumbai, MICA-Ahmedabad, IRMA, TISS-Mumbai, IIITs, Marine Engineering College-Kolkata, IISC-Bangalore, CMC-Vellore, BMC-Bangalore MMC-Chennai, GMC-Mumbai, AIIMS, AFMC-Pune, MAMC-Delhi, KMC-Manipal, MS Ramaiah Medical College, MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, SRM University-Kattankulathur Campus, IMT-Nagpur & Hyderabad, etc. – there is no margin required

For students studying in other institutions:

Up to Rs 4 Lakhs – NIL
Above Rs 4 Lakhs – 5%

>> Margin may be brought in one year to year basis as and when disbursements are made on a pro rata basis:

For students studying in other institutions – 5%

Under PNB Pratibha Education Loan scheme, there will be no margin, if you have taken loan of up to 4 lakhs. Any education loan above 4 lakhs, will be eligible for margin of 5%.

Just take note that, this education loan scheme is only for students, who have confirmed admission at reputed institutions like IITs, NITs, IIMs, etc.

Yes, there is margin available in PNB Pratibha Education Loan Scheme, which is as follows.

Loan amount up to Rs. 4.0 lacs: No margin
Loan amount above Rs. 4.0 lacs: 5%

Scholarship/Assistantship are included in the margin money.
