I want to take an education loan from Bank of Maharashtra because I have a Savings Account in this bank. Actually I am planning to study ICWAI program, so I want to apply an education loan in this bank. Kindly let me know that what maximum amount I can get in an education loan of this bank?

Bank of Maharashtra offers maximum amount up to Rs. 10 lacs for studies in India and up to 20 lacs for studies abroad under Education Loan Scheme. For loans upto Rs. 4 lacs, no margin required. For loans above Rs. 4 lacs, 5% of margin for studies in India and 15% of margin for abroad studies is required.

The maximum amount offered under Bank of Maharashtra Education Loan Scheme for ICWAI Program is Rs. 10 lakhs for studies in India and Rs. 20 lakhs for studies in Abroad. You should have secured admission to higher education course in a recognised college/ university to be eligible to apply for an education loan in Bank of Maharashtra.
