I want to know about the details of subsidy scheme of an education loan available in Kotak Bank? I am going to apply for an education loan in this bank. So, I want to know about the subsidy scheme first.

The Ministry of HRD has launched a scheme of interest subsidy on educational loans for economically weaker section of society.
Those who fulfill the eligibility criteria are eligible for such subsidy.

0.50% concession in interest rate is provided to female students.
Those who annual family income is less than 2.5 lacs per annum.are eligible for interest subsidy.
They have to provide income certificate for such purpose.

Thus diffrent schemes have different benefit and their eligibility criteria also differs.
