Re: Total number of seats in government colleges of JEE? Chances of getting education loan?
There are very less number of seats in the government colleges of AIEEE, i.e, NITs. Different NITs have different number of seats which also differ as per the branches. Even the same goes for the IITs. You need to get the top ranks in order to get the best institutes for studying engineering course.
Yes, you can definitely avail education loan for studying in them. You can easily get education loan if you get admission in the IITs and NITs as the banks readily come forward to offer you education loan since you have a good future prospect. |

Hello Friend !!
Last year 9,885 seats were available in all the 17 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) including the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. According to information posted on the JEE Advanced website, the seats include : IIT Hyderabad (210), IIT Bhubaneswar (160), IIT Bombay (880), IIT Mandi (120), IIT Delhi (851), IIT Indore (120), IIT Kharagpur (1341), IIT Jodhpur (200), IIT Kanpur (827), IIT Madras (838), IIT Gandhinagar (140), IIT Patna (200), IIT Roorkee (1105), IIT Ropar (120), IIT (BHU) Varanasi (1090), IIT Guwahati (660) and ISM Dhanbad (1023). In the general category 4,844 seats are available followed by, 2,599 in Backward Classes (non-creamy layer), 1437 for Scheduled Castes, 721 for Scheduled Tribes, 140 for General Physical Disability candidates, 75 for OBC Physical Disability, 44 for SC and 25 for ST Physical Disability candidates. All these Colleges will consider the JEE score for admissions. And yes, you can get the educational loan once you get a seat in any of the IIT's. There is no need to worry about the loans, because the colleges will itself will provide you the Bank details to get the loan. All the Best !! |
