I have heard about Central Interest Subsidy Scheme. But I really don’t know what it is? Actually I am going to apply an education loan in Oriental Bank of Commerce for studying my MS in Abroad. So, I got the paper regarding this subsidy scheme but don’t know about this. Please explain me what it is?

Interest subsidy refers to that students from economically backward sections can claim interest on their education loan from Government in form of subsidy.
They are provided loan without any collateral security.

Anyone can avail 1% interest concession during moratorium period.

For studying abroad , for loan upto 4 lacs, processing fee gets refunded after course completion.
