If you join the MCA in Tamil Nadu College the Eligibility for MCA
a) Pass Bachelor's degree of Minimum 3 years any recognised(10+2+3/4Years Pattern) in any descipline with core Mathenatics (or) Business Mathematics at +2 Level.

b) Pass Bachelor's degree with 10+3 year Diploma +3 years patten with Mathematics ar Deploma at Deplome level or Mathematics or Statistics as onof the subjects at the degree level.

c) Pass Bachelor's degree of Minimum 3 years any recognised in any descipline with Mathematics or statistics as any one of the subjects.

(Mathematics Or Statistics*)
Business Mathematics, Business Statistics, Algorithm and Numerical Methods, Numerical and Statisitical Methods, Probability and statistics, Probability Mathematics, Numerical Methods, Algebra and Probability Mathematics, Quantitative Techniques, Computer oriented Numerical Methods, Engineering Mathematics, Bio-Statistics, Allied Mathematics, Allied Basic Mathematics,Business Statistics and Operation Research, Quantitative Methods of Business

sorry to say you that you are not eligiable to do MCA.

as to do MCA 12th with math is compulsary required.

i think it is posible you need to give an extra paper of maths of 12th class some universities provide admission in mca with a marksheet of 12th class of maths papaer privately given, and then you can do the mca as a regular student.

Hello friend

I will inform you that, if you dont have a maths in your 12th exams and you have done your BCA without maths in 12th. Then i think your College is Fake or it is not approved.

Because without maths in 12th, no-one can do BCA and MCA.

But, if you have a CS subjects in your 12th exams Or in your graduation level, then you are eligible for doing BCA and MCA.

Because manny colleges provide admission on the basis of CS.

So, if you dont have maths but you have CS subjects, then you are definately eligible for doing MCA.

For MCA candidate must has opted for Mathematics as one of the main subject and also have passed in it.

So, if you want to opt for MCA you can not do so. However, some private institutes claim such admission but, beware of fraud and discripency in that.

However, you can enroll for M.sc (IT) or one of the Best option is switch to MBA (IT).

Non- other then it would be better for your career prospect.

as per criterion of MCA is you have to passed 10+2 levels in math with atleast 45% marks and also you have the subject math on your graduation. so you are unable to full fill the criterion. you are not eligible for MCA.
but do not worry there are so many career option on computer. as you have completed B.SC(IT) so i will suggest you to go for M.SC in IT. after M.sc you may join in reputed IT company and also you may join as a lecturer in any institution. the scope and job opportunity both are very good for M.SC(IT) student. Sorry !! you cann't go for MCA as eligibility criteria for MCA entrance is :-

1) Nationality :- Indian.

2) Educational Qualification :- 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of :

(i) 12th level with Mathematics and

(ii) bachelor’s degree of full time 3 year duration from a recognized university with any of the subjects - (a) mathematics (b) statistics (c) business mathematics (d) discrete mathematics (e) mathematical foundations of computer science (f) business statistics (g) computational mathematics (h) elementary mathematics (i) elementary statistics .

you can not do MCA without math in 12th and graduation you have to complete this requirement for study MCA but you have another option you can do DOEACC courses and in DOEACC there are some course which is equivalent to MCA. other wise you can do MBA or any other course.

i am very sorry to say that you are not eligible to take admission in MCA, as essential

criteria to take admission in MCA is pass in +2 with math either as a main subject or

optional subject.But friend, you can go for MSc(IT). It is also equivalent to MCA and

after doing this you will become eligible to work in MNCs as software engineer.

I pased 10th from cbse(kendriya vidyalaya) with 52 % subjects as hin,eng,math,science,social science. and 12th arts with 67 % subjects as hin,eng,his,geo,eco.and bca from magadh university with 72% subjects as subciadary were eco,english. which master degree can provide me good government or private job?

MCA without maths in 12th and Graduation
Most of the Univ/Colletes require Mathes at +2 level atleast for seeking admission to MCA.
Annamalai University, Chidambaram, is offering MCA through Distance Education even for students without maths in +2.
You have to undergo one week's programme there for getting admission.
There may be some other univ/ colleges also offering MCA regular stream for students like You.
But Annamalai Univ. is authenticated one.

Sorry but as u mentioned about your qualifications you are not eligible for MCA.

MCA requires:
1. Either mathematics in 10+2 or
2. BCA at graduation level.

as you dont have any of these you cannot pursue MCA.

But u can do the masters of science in IT this course is also good and will definitely increase your job opportunities.

TO do MCA, atleast you have to score 55% marks in 12 including MATHS in 12 and also in graduation...
But you dont have maths in class 12th....
so I dont think so that you are eligible for MCA...

MCA can be done only if
1. You have maths at your 10+2 level or,
2. You have done BCA at your graduation level.

As u have done Bsc(IT), and u dont have maths at ur 10+2 level. So you are not eligible for pursuing MCA, rather you can go for Msc(IT)
You can also do MBA, or other professional courses.

You can not do MCA without study maths in 12th....you need to first BCA and then MCA....MCA is good course and the job placement is also good after MCA...so first go for BCA and then MCA.....

No, you are not eligible because you were not having maths in 12th standard.

You can go for MBA. It is also having a good scope after completing BCA or BBA.

I am sorry to say that say that you are not eligible for M.C.A.
with out passing 12th with Maths.

Eligibility for M.C.A course:-
> Pass B.C.A/B.Sc I.T wth minimum 50% marks.
and also Maths in 12th class.

For admission in top college you have to qualify the entrance exam like:-
> I.I.T-J.A.M
> G.A.T.E
etc

Top M.C.A college in India:-
> I.I.T, Bombay
> I.I.T, Delhi
> I.I.T, Kanpur
> I.I.T, Jhodpur
> N.I.T, Wrangal
> N.I.T, Trichy
etc

sorry but you are not eligible as per the requirements for the course, you must
score atleast 55% marks including maths in 12th exams and in Graduation you
must have subjects as mathematics. You might not get admission in any college
due to said criteria but you can always go for DE course for MCA from any
University, they don't have any such criteria.........
