I am icwa student.i had registration in 2011.i haf given two atempts of inter group1.but not clear.i feel dierct tax subject hard..please suggest me how to study direct tax and how to prepare for exams.

Maths is not only about doing the problems like engineering or other technical studies. A student who well understands problems of amalgamation, shares prorata, Financial management, cma etc also have good calculation skill. Its a myth that students weak in maths cannot study this course. Operation management is different from other 7 subjects in inter syllabus. Tackle it according to question paper pattern. Since june 14 term you will see, questions are mainly from theory not lengthy numericals, the technical formulas and question involving scientific part of operations is not included in exam question now. Chapter 3, 4, 7,8, 9 also play a role to pass. Dont get lost in chapter 2. Just study the simpler theory related to management of operations, not the technical things. Observe the recent question papers of june 14, dec 14 and june 15 terms.

Can i write and clear Intermediate by writing Group 2 Without clearing Group 1 with less than 200marks but passing in all subjects in Group1 and obtaining equal or more than 400 marks in both group by clearing.
