M.Arch after B.Tech (Civil)

In India it is not possible. you are not eligible for M.arch.For persuing M.Arch the minimum requirement is B.Arch with good percentage.Candidates with B.E./B.tech (civil) are not eligible for M.Arch.

However, there will be some possibilities with B.tech (Architechural Engineering).

However, you can go for M.plan (Master of Planing) or M.E./M.Tech Eviromental Engineering is also a good option for being a part of Archtechture field.. .......


Master in Architecture requires a bachelor degree in Architecture or an equivalent degree from any Indian university or any other certified institution.
Therefore you are eligible for that.
Actually Master degree is supposed to be specialization in a part of B.Tech course and so is the architecture with Civil engineering.
There are various professional course in M.Arch. You can do it as per your area of interest.

i heard that after completing BE(civil) there is one option to do M arch .....how means we should do one one year course and we can join in M arch lateral entry?

I am BE /Civil final year student. After completion of my course, I would like to study M.Arch.whether it is possible or not.If I can do , what will be the duration of the course.

i ma planing to do my m arch in abroad so is my be civil qualification enough for that or should i do some other special cources ??

Indian architecture education cheat by making a wastage of five year course when others offer it for just three years. B.Tech is always a better option than b.arch
