I have doubt whether i can do it or not. Whether i hav the educational qualification to do M.Arch?

Dear friend
Master in Architecture requires a bachelor degree in Architecture or an equivalent degree from any Indian university or any other certified institution.
Therefore you are eligible for that.
Actually Master degree is supposed to be specialization in a part of B.Tech course and so is the architecture with Civil engineering.
There are various professional course in M.Arch. You can do it as per your area of interest.

M.Arch after B.Tech (Civil)

In India it is not possible. you are not eligible for M.arch.For persuing M.Arch the minimum requirement is B.Arch with good percentage.Candidates with B.E./B.tech (civil) are not eligible for M.Arch.

However, there will be some possibilities with B.tech (Architechural Engineering).

However, you can go for M.plan (Master of Planing) or M.E./M.Tech Eviromental Engineering is also a good option for being a part of Archtechture field.

after complition of b.e in civil you can't do mtech in architechture.as civil & architechture both are different trade subject.

you can do mtech in

1.construction.

2.civil.

3.enviornmental engg.

all the best.........

this is not possible in our country u may try abroad........otherwise u can go for M.Tech...

i'm sorry u cannot do m.arch but you can go for m.planning ... but in anna univesity , u can go for structural engineering if ur interested.....and one more thing is that ur eligible for M.Arch (real estate development) but there is some condition and u wil not be eligible for registration as " architects"... jus see to it

hello,
as far as i know, it is important to get b.arch degree (plus scoring good marks) for pursuing m.arch.
if you are very much interested in architectural field you can go for b.e. in architectural engineering & then go for m.tech.it has great scope.

B.E (civil) is different from, B.arch.dont make a mixture in these two fields.however if you want to do something in architecture field you can take some diploma or training for that.

yes,you can deport to any other branch or field.
the additional 200 rs. has to be sent in to recomended college.

Sorry but i dont think its possible. For MArch you must have a BArch Degree. But no problem there are so many courses in Mtech you can do after civil as this field is very diverse which is directly or indrectly related to architechural engineering.

for doing m arch. you must have done b.arch from any indian university but since you have done BE in civil, you are not eligible for admission in m.arch

then you can do m arch with architecture , so you are eligible.

Sorry to say dear this is not possible in india. You need a bachelor degree in B.Arch then you will be eligible for M.Arch.

But one thing i don't understand why do you want to do m.arch since you are a civil engineer. You may go for M.tech or you may get some good jobs.

You are eligible for the M.Arch course . It would be better if you do advance in your course. If you have really interest this course then I will suggest you that you should go for this course.

Doing this course will increase your demand in the market and most of the jobs are available for you in the government sector and in the private sector.

Just do your course with your best efforts Iam sure it would be helpful for you.

Doing MArch is good after the completion of the BE civil engineering since civil engineering is the strong foundation of for this when compared to other.

You cannot do M.arch after B.E. civil engineering. The eligibility for M.Arch is B.Arch with at least 50% marks. You can opt for other courses of engineering like architectural engineering.

hii friend i guess in india they don offer b.e after m.arch so you can try for any abroad best colleges for architect orelse you an do short term diploma courses for arch.........

As far as I know you cannot do post graduate degree in architecture after pursuing BE in civil engineering since the educational qualification required for studying M.Arch is a bachelor's degree in architecture .

It will be better to do MTech. in civil as it also offers good job prospects in both govt. & private sectors with handsome salary & attractive perks.
