1.Machine X purchased on 1.4.2010 for 40,000
2. Machine Y purchased on 30.9.2011 for 50,000
3. Machine X sold on 1.10.2011 for 34,500
The above machines were depreciated at 10.% p.a under original cost method on 31st march every year. Show the solution

Prepare machinery a/c & depreciation a/c for 4 years. Ending 30-03-2015 under diminishing balance method depreciation being 10% per annum
