UGC affiliation is sufficient for a college. The college is not AICTE approved but it is approved by UGC.
The University Grants Commission of India is a statutory organisation set up by Union government, for the coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of university education.
So your degree would be beneficial in your future. The AICTE itself is established by University Grants Commission.

Indian institute of management studies is one of the best institution in india which provide management study in india. it also provide MCA degree.

MCA is the master degree in computer application. it is a professional course. BCA is the previous graduation course of MCA. there are so many jobs and scope for MCA students. the salary packages after MCA is also high enough.

if you do MCA from IIMS it will help you a lot for getting jobs. your certificate will be obviously valuable. after completion of your MCA you will get job easily from on campus or off campus.

any engineering college it is very essential to be approved by AICTE.without approval of
AICTE there is no any recognition of degree.so at first be sure that your college is AICTE
approved or not.never take in such engineering college which is not approved by the AICTE.

although UGC recognized is a bit lower than AICTE mark but it is also a great thing..i mean u dont have to look so down on the UGC mark..if a college is UGC recognized then also its a good college..
n moreover..ur job is staying intact after doing ur ME from this college..but who knows how much u might have to undergo after passing through AICTE college and losing ur job..
so better to do it from this college only..

whether karpagam university is approved by AICTE? whether its Ph.D degrees are approvrd by the government? can we apply for a govt. job with it?

there should not be contradiction like that "kon kiska baap hai"....but as the informations are providing that make sure your institution must be approved by AICTE.....its a wrong statement like a hearsay....
many collages are approved by UGC and they are much better then some AICTE cllgs....

I have completed BTECH in mechanical engg and having 12 years teaching experience.NOW i want MTECH degree fromUGC approved university,not AICTE approved,so tell me wheather mtech degree is valid for ASST.PROF post at any ENGG COLLEGE?
