I have done B.E in Electronics and instrumentation stream and doing lectuership in Engeeniering colleges from last 5 years. Now it has become compoulsory to have M.E/M.tech degree for same profession.now i want to do M.E. but i dont want to left the job.i have a option to do M.E. from a college with my job but this college is not AICTE approved and is only UGC approved.
so i want to ask how much it will be beneficial for me or not for my carrier.And i m thinking to do M.E. In VLSI ,is it good decision for education field....please sir help me to get out from my great tensions.

UGC affiliation is sufficient for a college. The college is not AICTE approved but it is approved by UGC.
The University Grants Commission of India is a statutory organisation set up by Union government, for the coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of university education.
So your degree would be beneficial in your future. The AICTE itself is established by University Grants Commission.

so that you can do your job together with the master degree.

As your college doesn't have AICTE approval but still UGC recognized then after completion of
your M.Tech you can't apply for goverment jobs but you can try for private jobs, because in private sector you can get jobs.
Ohter wise you can do further higher studies from good & well approved from AICTE.

& i think you need not to left your job, you can continue your study during your M.tech.

i am working for a private bank with MBA which i have done through IASE which is approved by UGC and DEC. recently in other bank interview they are specificly asked wether my IASE is approved by AICTE or not. can any one help me how can i justify in interview?

for any engineering college it is very essential to be approved by AICTE.

without approval of AICTE there is no any recognition of degree.so at first be sure that your college is AICTE approved or not.

never take in such engineering college which is not approved by the AICTE.

yes, you can do ME in VLSI. it has very good scope.

aicte is the son/daughter of UGC.if the course is recognised by UGC , i think for MBA AICTE is not essential.some institutes are in top of all India ranking without aicte approval.like iipm,iim.so it is not mandatory to come under aicte.

Do you know the following facts,
1. No IIT institution is approved by AICTE.
2. No 5 year Integrated Technical Degree (M. Tech.) has so far been approved by AICTE.
3. No any branch relating to Nanotechnology has so far been approved by AICTE.
What do you thik whether any of the above-noted educational programs run by various reputed institutions are fake or invalid including degrees offered by IIT's.
On the other hand there are number of universities offering Technical Degrees in various deciplines. These universities also include full-fledged State universities recognised by UGC, what about the validity and authenticity of their degrees? Are they offering merely a waste paper in the form of degrees.

I would like to cite particularly University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, which is one of the most reputed State University. It is offering 5 year Integrated M. Tech. in NBIC, Nano(Nanomaterial and Nanotechnology)-Bio(Biomaterial and Biotechnology)-Info(Information and Communication Technology)-Cogno(Cognitie Neuroscience). This program decipline was first concieved in USA in 2001 and Rajasthan University is the first institution which has introduced this program in India. This State University founded in 1948 is well recognised by UGC but its M. Tech. Degree is not yet approved by AICTE.

Take another example, SASTRA in Tamilnadu one of the reputed Institution in the field if Biotechnology. It has introduced a new course in the name of Medical Nanotechnology and offering M. Tech Degree(5 Year Integrated) in Medical Nanotechnology.
What is the future of such students those are pursuing these programs?

there is no problem if the college is not approved by AICTE. but in sometime it's matter. as the college is UGC (University Grants Commission of India) approved so surely don't left your job. do M.Tech from this institution. it's a great opportunity for you. but if you don't like this institution as it is not AICTE approved then i will suggest try to complete your mtech by distance education. choose the best suitable one for you. best of luck.

its ok tht tht ur college is not aicte approved as it is for technical organisations,colleges and universities meant for technical courses ,and if u want to do M.E. ,go for the institute which is both UGC and AICTE.

It should be considered as valid.The only major disadvantage of corresspondence course, as people think is, practical knowledge.But already as you r working in that field i consider you are having suffecient experience.But big guns, who deccide what is valid or not, should have a look into real story of teaching in higher education system as exampled by honourable amir khan in 3 idiots.

if any university is approved by joint commitee of dec/ugc/aicte then there is no any other approval is required for techanical diploma by aicte

Dear friend there is no need to leave your job. UGC recognition is sufficient for any college. and since your college is UGC recognized you can go for the degree from the college. and i want to inform you that AICTE is a part of UGC. it is due to UGC that we know this AICTE recognition.

College approved but UGC approved
UGC affiliation is sufficient for a college. The college is not AICTE approved but it is approved by UGC.
The University Grants Commission of India is a statutory organisation set up by Union government, for the coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of university education.
So your degree would be beneficial in your future. The AICTE itself is established by University Grants Commission.

hey UGC afflication is not sufficient,please join in a college which is AICTE approved and has NBA accrediation which may be helpful for you in future if try for other jobs.

you need to do little homework that which college in your city is AICTE approved and has got NBA accrediation

yea of course it is valid.

Indian institute of management studies is one of the best institution in india which provide management study in india. it also provide MCA degree.

MCA is the master degree in computer application. it is a professional course. BCA is the previous graduation course of MCA. there are so many jobs and scope for MCA students. the salary packages after MCA is also high enough.

if you do MCA from IIMS it will help you a lot for getting jobs. your certificate will be obviously valuable. after completion of your MCA you will get job easily from on campus or off campus.

You just tell them each and every deemed technical/management university is approved by AITCE.and after that tell them your university status.i.e.

Deemed University by Govt. of India under Section 3 of the UGC Act-1956 vide notification F.9/29/2000-U.3 of 25th June 2002, and by UGC vide notification F.6-25/2001 (cpp-i) of 27th July 2002.

Before 1980 , 1990 & Still today Wheather B.E.(Electronics) is equivalent With Telecommunication Engineering degree in maharashtra for Non teaching Govt. Job ? Employment office also filled govt post as As per AICTE circular tii today for teching job Telecommunication degree equivalent with electronics.
