Sir i got 78% in my cbse board exam in 12th in 2015 and my aggregate in PCM is 71% but i got only 54 marks in maths. Sir is i am eligible for admission to NIT's and NSIT

sir i got 64% in class12.and 59.9% aggregate in PCM whether i am eligible to take admission in iit.
also wants to know that reaapearing in board is harmful for future jobs. plzz do reply

Minimum 40 marks as per each subject or 40% marks required to pass 12 examination.
