Re: Which one has more scope biochemistry or microbiology?
Hiiiiiiii,
You had a wide scope for M.Sc physics in any field. In our country, there are many research centers where M.Sc in Physics required for the detailed research in various fields of physics. M.Sc degree holders are also recruited in defense through SSC and CDS. Even if you can go to abroad, it will best for your career. you can opt for various research fields like Aerospace, Heavenly bodies, Nuclear physics, Aeronautics, and can join the defense research centers like DRDO and any other research centers of India and abroad. If you are interested in teaching, you can continueyour studies and after that, join any science or engineering college. |

Re: Which one has more scope biochemistry or microbiology?
Hello dear,GOVT JOBS FOR BCA CANDIDATE:-
1)HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER JOBS 2)BANK PO AND BANK CLERK JOBS 3)UPSC EXAM ( IAS , IPS , IES ,SCRA ,NDA) 4)PSC EXAM 5)ELECTRICITY BOARD OF INDIA 6)SSC EXAM 7)DEFENSE SECTOR PRIVATE JOBS FOR BCA CANDIDATE:- 1) TCS 2)CTS 3)IBM 4)WIPRO 5)CAPGEMINI You can also opt for higher education for post graduation course, here there are another two options to consider M.C.A M.B.A Since you have studied in B.C.A then it would be Better for you to do M.C.A because the same subjects are studied in depth with a specific course specialization. After Completion of M.C.A you can have numerous opportunities available. As it would be keeping in the same stream where you had your graduation same will be your post graduation as well. If you opt out for M.B.A there are various fields in M.B.A as Specializations the top most fields are Finance Marketing Operating Information Technology Human Resources You would be required to exhibit great amount of communication skills and management skills to succeed in any of the specializations mentioned above. The opportunities of getting into a successful career are plenty, if you work hard and show great determination. You can Choose any of the two options i.e either Job or higher studies but if u join job after graduation it would take you some time to settle down in your career but if you choose higher education then it will help you settle down quickly because of your dual degree and continuous flow of education without break will also help you being focused and achieving higher. |

Re: Which one has more scope biochemistry or microbiology?
hi
dear friend, i think biochemistry has very good scope, because Biochemistry as a branch of study is gaining added impetus with each passing day, Biochemistry is focused on the structure and function of cellular components, such as proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids, and other biomolecules and it has good scope in india.......... all the best........ |

Re: Which one has more scope biochemistry or microbiology?
I will tell you about microbiology. It has a lot to do with bacterial metabolism as it relates to biotechnology, human disease, environment, and general cell biology. There are also very popular courses in virology and immunology.
I think biochemistry is more intensive when it comes to studying detailed reactions of metabolic pathways .microbiology also involved a lot of molecular work, but probably at a more general level - not so much structures and pathways. I think microbiology may be a little more "applied science", as it involves a lot of the topics. When we talk about career prospect,Microbiology take a good lead. This because after persuing M.sc (Microbiology) one easily get job in Pharmacy industry, reasearch institutes and it also holds good prospect teaching. |

Re: Which one has more scope biochemistry or microbiology?
Dear Amritha,
You can definitely get a job.Don't worry about it.I believe from your language, that you are more Research oriented,Because there is a demand for research throughout India and outside.Go ahead. But I will suggest that you better complete M.Sc. and give entrances like UGC-CSIR,ACTREC,NET,PET,SLET etc. And congratulations for selecting Biochemistry as a subject. It's my subject too.If you are interested in knowing about Research fields in HIV/AIDS or Cancer,Please feel free to write me at: [email protected] All the Best, Regards. |

Re: Which one has more scope biochemistry or microbiology?
hi dear,
i feel both are branches are equally good if you go by job aspects........ Microbiology is a highly specialized faculty and if a learner were to think in terms of jobs in the area of research, a Ph.D. is mandatory. Pursuing a job after PG in Microbiology will stunt your growth. You must identify a university/institute of choice and an area of research, which will ensure that you move forward. Some of the Institutes/Universities you can try to join, Kuvempu University, are :- Indian Institute of Science (IISc.) ---(www.iisc.ernet.in) National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS)-------- (www.ncbs.res.in). Biochemistry is concerned with structural chemistry. It seeks to determine the structures of molecules found in living systems in order to understand structure-function relationships. Biochemistry is concerned with chemical change, this is reflected in the study of metabolic pathways . the scope of this course is also equally good....... best of luck thanks |

Re: Which one has more scope biochemistry or microbiology?
I will finally say that none of the profession assures or guarntees for the job as it is your luck wether you are offered by a company or selected as professor.Otherwise it does not have any scope.Rather you should apply for d.pharmacy as it has a wide private scope and you easily get the job after final year at reasonable pay.
