when i attempted for PGEE 2012 for Electronics and Communication,
i had searched for previous year questions but they were hard to find.

So just to help others,
I specially noted down immediately after the exam
as question papers are not allowed to take home.
So here are the questions I faced in PGEE 2012.

Hope you find them helpful.

PGEE 2012(Electronics and Communication):-

-->>Tips for exams accordimg to my experience:
1.>Read the instructions first given in your first page of question paper.
Because in the all MCQ questions there will be one than more answer possible.
This instruction I had not read.so that it affects my score.
2.>No instruction is given for negative markings...I asked the supervisor about
this then he told me there will be no negative markings...but when my results
came,it was quite wondering...I felt that there should be negative markings..
So get the idea about marking system from some authentic Person.

-->>PAPER-1(Genral Aptitude)
(50 questions each having 1 mark,Total 50 marks)(all are MCQ type)

--25 questions are from Basic aptitude and logical reasoning.
--25 questions are based on Quantitative and English comprehension
(Speed is necessary for last 25 questions for good score)

-->>PAPER-2(Technical Paper)
(30 questions each having 1 mark,Total 30 marks)(all are MCQ type)

--2 questions form Network
(to find voltage and energy of given signal)
--2 questions related to BJT
(to find output voltage of circiut having BJT)
--1 questions related to OP-AMP
(having concept of inverting(-RF/R1) and non-inverting(1+RF/R1))
--2 questions related VLSI fundamentals
(to find Thresold voltage,To find concentration)
--1 questions related to Base width of Transistor
(what happens if we incresed width of base in transistor...
options are given like B(beta) increase,Ib increase...etc..)
--approximately 7 to 8 questions are from Linear algebra
( 3 are depending on the Eigen values and eigen vectors,
and remaing are quite simple)
--What is bode plot? and four options are given
--simple question based on Sampling theoram
(fs=2fc concept)
--1 questions related to Two port networks
--approximately 8 to 9 questions are
from Signals,Systems & Signal Processing
~Based on concepts of Linearity,Time invariance,BIBO stability
~Based on Z-transform(concept of ROC)
~Fourier series Cofficients are given and we have to find Signal
and their Perdiocity
~2 to 3 questions are of Periodicity(to find given signal
is Periodic or non-periodic)
