Can I get admission in mtech if my GATE score is just above qualifying score?

hello, I am from EC branch. my GATE score is 327 and all india rank is 18631. cut off is 26.11 and I scored 27. Is there any possibility to get good institutions? Please suggest name of the institutions.

friend , your marks is not enough for scholarship and your chance to get admission through gate in m tech is also very less.
Don't be disheartened .

YEs, why but you may not be able get desired branch , but you will be entitled to fellowship of 8000 per month.

The most prominent options are IITs, NITs and IISc.
But if the score is low then one must follow the other options as well because there are a good no. of other govt. and private institution offering good teaching environment and researches. Some of them are as follows

i have completed my btech with 59% fm dce(dtu) with 1 backlog (optional),i want to do mtech fm iit , nit etc. i want to know about my eligibility for mtech with dis backlog because there is written only 55% in btech(for sc/st) is required for mtech but not mention about backlog?
