getting admission in NIT is next to impossible with this rank...whether you belong to any reserved category or not......
so it is quite hard to say yes......
but you may try in the private colleges which fetch seats on the basis of aieee merits

no, I do not think that you can get into any NIT. Atleast 100 marks are needed even if you belong to OBC and belong to uttarakhand........NIT is not a private college dear, it is National Institute of Tech......

your score in aieee is not enough for gettin a seat through

aieee, even from OBC category,

you must note that thoug OBC get reservation.. obc is itself a very competitive pool

of aspirants,

additionally you are from Uttarakhand and hence for a seat in NIT srinagar

you will have to compete on national level for 50% seats,

so you should look towards other opportunities

come below 1 lakh so there is no chance of getting a seat in some

NIT even in OBC category. Still I would like you to suggest that

you visit the CCB website(www.ccb.nic.in) to get the seat allotment

details of last year and wait for your result to match them.

If you don't get it you should try to get admission in some other

college through AIEEE itself or other engineering entrances.

Well this is very difficult to get admission in NITs after scoring only 60 marks in the AIEEE.
You won't get chance in NITs with low score as because NITs that is NAtional Institutes of Technology have very good reputation in the India after the IITs.

To get chance in any of the NITs you need to score at least 150+.
As you belongs to OBC quota then you might get some relaxation of 10% marks. So if you score 130+ then you might get chance in NITs,

You can't admission in NIT Srinagar with due marks, you must have all india rank under one lakh. there is no matter for your region Uttrakhand and your category OBC also.

60 marks in AIEEE is very low marks. your rank in AIEEE will be very high. with this rank you will not get chance in any of the NIT. even you will not get chance in any government institution although you belongs to OBC category. only you will be able to take admission in few private engineering colleges.

i think for now it's better to appear in AIEEE in next year. otherwise you should go for any other course. you may take admission in B.Sc course or BCA course. otherwise if you have rank in any other engineering entrance examination then also you may take admission in engineering through that rank.

In this marks your rank would be approx. 160000,so you wont be getting any NIT.sorry for that.

As you are belonging to OBC category so i think you will get admission at NIT Srinagar.
As Cut off for OBC is i think 15 marks .
So i think you will get admission.

you have no chance for NIT srinagar.

because you score is 60.

if it is 190 then you have chance for NIT colleges,

You can get admission into NIT srinaagar ,but u will get BIO TECHNOLOGY /METALLURGY/PRODUCTION/INDUSTRIAL branch only.
You can try in spot counsilling ,you will surely get admission into NIT.
