Nice to see your Interest in Government Jobs and after B.tech you can apply for many Government Recruitment examinations. So, If you want to do Jobs in Government Sector then you have to apply for these examinations.

>> Since You have completed your B.tech course, so you are eligible to apply for the UPSC examination. UPSC Conducts many examination Like Civil services, IES (Engineering services examination), CDS (Combined defense services), SCRA Examination.

>> So, If you are Interested in these examination then please apply for the given examination, Since you have completed your B.tech Course, So you are eligible for IES Examination, And if you cracked the IES Examination then you will become a Engineers in Government Sector, The examination was conducted by UPSC Every year and If you are Interested then please apply for this examination in 2012.

You are also eligible to apply for UPSC Civil services examination if you are Interested to become IAS/IPS and other government Officer, The examination also conducted by UPSC and to apply for this examination you need to be a graduate in any discipline and your age should between 21 to 30 years, The Notification of this examination was Going to be published in the month of February 2012 and eligible candidates may apply Online.

>> You can also apply for the Bank Clerical and Bank PO examination.

For Bank PO examination you need to be a graduate and your age should between 21 to 30 years, There is no minimum Percentage eligibility criteria to apply for Bank PO Examination.

But for Bank Clerical examination, Your age should between 18 to 28 years and you must completed your 12Th examination, But you are graduate, so you are eligible for Bank Clerical examination.

but you have not mention your department in engineering so it difficult to say which govt jobs you ca apply.

but for in every govt sector criteria is almost same.

they generally give criteria like

>>65% and above marks in engineering.

>>age limit 21-28.

>>no back logs.

You have completed your B-TECH . But your graduation marks is must be 60% above because below mention organization have criteria is above 60% in graduation . This percentage is vary from organization to organization.

So you have many options to go like govt sector ,private sector or higher study also.

The govt sector options are -DRDO , BARC , ONGC , ISRO , NIC , IGDR , UPSC EXAM , BSNL JTO etc.The age limit for those organization is maximum 30 years .Age relaxation provide only for SC/ST /OBC candiadte.

Also you are eligible in private sector also . the private sector company are TCS ,CTS ,IBM,HP,L&T,ALUNUS ,WIPRO etc.

The higher study options are MS , MBA ,M-TECH ,JRF ,SRF ,PHD etc.

Also you must be qualify in GATE ,CAT,MAT exam.
