now i am confused pls any one suggest me..what to do to becomes s/w engg.....now i am preparing for my backlogs......

is it true after doing B.Sc computers distance education people become software engineers?

I have been selected in merit list of ITM at Ravenshaw.I have lot of confusion about this course.pls help me. Is this a good course or not?? Which companese are coming to ravenshaw for campous selection?? May i get a chance to become a software enigenere ??
