Eligibility for neet exam to qualify 10+2 with minimum percentage of 50% with subjects physics, chemistry and biology. And minimum age required is 17 years.
NEET 2020 will be the single entrance exam for admission in medical courses. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has now made all the students eligible for the 'State of Eligibility (for 15% All India Quota)' independent according to their choice for 'State of Eligibility' |

So, If you are willing to become a doctor, your next step would be to get admission in 11th science Group B(Biology). Thank you. |

Re: After which standard can we apply and write the NEET entrance examination?
NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and it is held once every for offering admission in MBBS degree course in medical college across India except for the case of AIIMS which conducts its own admission test known as AIIMS MBBS entrance examination.
Further, the minimum education required to apply for NEET (and therefore to pursue MBBS degree course in India) is a Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as main subjects with at least 50% marks (or 40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in aggregate from a recognised board of education. Students going to appear in their Class 12th board examination are also allowed to appear in the same examination. So, being a student of Class 10th, you need to wait till you complete your Class 12th in above mentioned subject combination to be eligible for pursuing MBBS degree course. Further, I would like to let you know that MBBS is more of a general course and one can opt for specialization course after completion of MBBS to be a specialist in certain field. For complete details regarding NEET, you can refer to its official link www.ntaneet.nic.in. |
