There are many UPSC entrance exams.

for example UPSC - Civil Service Examination
N.D.A Exam
Common Defense Services Exam.
and many more
for most of the exams the eligibility conditions vary for example we will take two exams. they are .

->NDA Entrance exam : this is for 12th completed students. and they have to be in the age in between 16 1/2 -19 years.

->IAS entrance exam or Civil Service Exam.: this exam is for degree completed students and for the age of 21 and 30 years especially designed for Indian Youth. In order to place them in good positions. like as IAS officer or IPS officer etc.,

Any degree candidates are eligible for Civil Service examination.

You are not eligible for IES - Indian Engineering services.

you are also not eligible for IFS - Indian Forest services.

you are eligible for CDS - Common defense Services.

for every exam what you want to write you have to apply only after a specific notification.
each and every exam will release separate notifications by UPSC.
