the top 25 institutes of mtech in biotechnology after bsc biotechnology and the entrance exams of those institutes?

You can get the list of top institute on its website.....And those institute has own entrance exam so it is depend on institute to tke exam........

its very good combination and also very brighter in future as every body knows scop in mtech its very high.

i dont think you can apply for M.tech in biotechnology straight after completing your Bsc in biotechnology because Bsc is a theoritical aspect in the field of biotechnology where as M.tech is an applicative part so dear you have to 1st complete your msc in biotechnology then you can apply for M.tech in biotechnology and for that it will be better if you go through employment newspaper of 30-6 feb 2010 and you can certainly get a lot of details a bout biotechnology and the institutes from where you can do Mtech and Msc in biotechnology whose exam notification is also there in the same employment newspaper the main exam is that of JNU which has around 25 or more institutes having a combined exam for admissionsinto various courses and after that there are IIt's which also conducts these exams once in ayear so for more details refer the employment newspaper and do write to me in case needed . wish you good luck and success. bye and thanks

i am very sorry to say that you cannot apply for MTech in boitech before completing MSc in the subject
the reson is that the BSc is not eqivalent to the BTech and only after completing MSc you will be eligible

I was also in a big controversy regarding this issue. I searched a lot about this whether i am eligible for M Tech biotechnology after graduating in biotechnology or not. I observed that there are certain universities and institutes which permit B Sc biotechnology passed students to take admission in M Tech but some do not. So, people who are looking forwad to take admission in M Tech should check for such institutes.................

sorry friend you cant apply for this course because bsc is not equivalent to btech..........before applying for this course you must have completed you MSc from any of the recognized university.........

so first go for the MSc and then for the mtech............

Yes of course you are 100% eligible to do that. After completing your B.tech in Biotechnology you can do your Ms in US or European countries. Ther are several plans to study Ms in abroad for which you need to have satisfy the following criteria

PLAN-A:
Ms in US you should have written GRE and TOEFL. After obtaining your scores basing on your scores and your performance in your under graduate level you should apply for universities in which you can pursue your Ms. For this purpose various consultancies are there which can guide you in the write way because they can have more information in this field.

PLAN-B:
Ms in European countries. In Europe two countries are offering free education. They are 1. Sweden
2. Norway 3. Germany. So we have to take care of ourselves only i.e., for food + for clothe and for shelter we have to spend money from our pocket. HI vanshu I am B.tech Biotechnology graduate,

As per the rule Bachelor of science students can not apply for Master of Technology programmes with out a proper degree in either Bachelor of Technology or in Master of Sciences. SO if you want to go for M.tech you have two options in hand either to go for B.tech then M.tech or complete your degree in Master of sciences then apply for your M.tech. It will be definitely time waste if you again choose B.tech as you are already a degree holder so first complete your Msc then go for M.tech.
Now a days if you want to be in a good hierarchical position in your technological field M.tech degree is not the mandatory degree. According to my opinion you first complete your Msc then go for Phd. If you want to be in your technical field. If you want to earn more money with in a short span of time then choose MBA. That is my suggestion for you, and don't think that M.tech is the only way to enter in to your technical field. There are number of ways you can choose other than it.


So choose a write step for your future which can be decided by focusing on your aim and all the best for it.

you can't apply for gate exam after your b.sc.

as the GATE eligibilty is given below

1.minimum graduation in engineering.

final year & prefinal year btech students are allowed to attain in the gate exam.

2.after msc doing msc. students are also eligibile to attain in the gate exam.

there have not any age limit to attain in the gate exam.

No. M tech can be done only if you have completed your B Tech degree but not BSc.
You can do M Sc in biotechnology without any doubt.
There are many institutes which offer MSc Biotech courses.
There will be entrace exam for doing MSc biotech.

GATE is an examination conducted by the association of 7 IITs and the IISc, bangalore.

They conduct it for the selection of students for their post graduation level.

Based on your score, the institutes that you can get admitted into are:-

ELGIBILTY CRITERIA

1. B.Tech pass-out or 4th year.
