Re: At an age of 35 dan i apply for UP PSC exam? How many times can I appear for the exam?
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA required for appearing in UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) exam are as follows
Educational Qualification required for appearing in UPSC exam is that you must have completed your graduation from a recognized university. Age Limit required for appearing in UPSC exam is that your age must be above 21years and below 30years. The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable upto a maximum of five years, if you belong to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe or if you had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from the 1st January, 1980 to the 31st day of December, 1989. Thus, you are eligible only once to appear in UPSC exam that too if you are from Schedule Caste or a Scheduled Tribe or if you are from Jammu and Kashmir during the above mentioned period. |

dear friend,
My friend , as you are 35 years old then you are not eligible for UPSC exams.. Age limit for UPSC exam:- 1.Candidates age should be in between 21-30 years. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.. For Ex-service man the upper age relaxation is 5 years. So, I think you can write UPSC exam for last time.. Don't waste time , just go for it. All the best.. |

Re: At an age of 35 dan i apply for UP PSC exam? How many times can I appear for the exam?
Most of the respondent didnt read the question properly, For state psc exams upper age differs from state to state like for MP state psc i hope the upper age is 33 and for chhattisgarh, Andhra pradesh , MH the upper age is 35. I am pretty much confident as of 2012 attempts most of the state psc's upper age limit for general candidate is 35 years. So you are still eligible for one attempt considering in your state, state psc upper age limit is 35.
for better understanding please refer to respective state psc website. All the best. |

Re: At an age of 35 dan i apply for UP PSC exam? How many times can I appear for the exam?
I assume that you are referring to the UP Public Service Commission.
This PSC advertises some posts for state govt service and fills them. The PSC gives age relaxation for different categories like SC/ST, dependents of freedom fighters, skilled players, Emergency Commissioned officers, etc. These are job specific. So, you have to scan the relaxations available for the posts you are trying to get selected. At the moment, no technical posts are in the pipeline. |
