Age Limit for Magistrate exams?
I am LLB Final Year and I have a govt job in Municipal corporation. I want to give exams for higher post but now I am 35yrs. can you tell me age limit for magistrate exams?

Good morning,
Sir, for temporary post of Civil Judge cum Judicial Magistrate the age limit is between 23 to 32 years. And for M.P.S.C. exams the age limit is between 21 to 35 years. And for JFMC(Judicial first class Magistrate) the age limit is 35 years for open categories and 3 years relaxation for OBC and for SC's/ST's the relaxation is for 5 years. Good Day. |

For the Magistrate Exams, Your Age Should be 21 to 35 Years, Only then You are Eligible for Magistrate Exams. So, your age is 35, So you are eligible for This exams.
Magistrates are recruited by local Advisory Committees. So, you can apply to become a magistrate in two ways - Online – by using the interactive application form. Fill in the form online, save it to your computer and attach it to an email addressed to your local Advisory Committee application contact. It's better to apply this way as it will be processed more quickly. Or By post – by using the printable application form. Print out the form and fill it in using black ink, then post it back to your local Advisory Committee. Eligiblity - A bachelor's degree and work experience are the minimum requirements for a judgeship or magistrate position. age limit for Magistrate exams is 21 to 35 years for general catogory and for sc catogory there is 5 years relaxation.So if you comes in reserved catogory than easily you can apply for magistrate exam. with best wishes!!!! |

1)Better you should apply soon , because you din't have any relaxation, you are at the right time and last chance , Maximum Age limit is 35 and Minimum is 21 years for the Magistrate Exam 2) Judicial Magistrate Exam you should have 23 to 32 Years Best of luck for your Magistrate Exam |

WELL friend,
there is 21 to 35 years of age limitation for Magistrate exams. To eligibile your self to write exams for magistrate is you must be having 2 years LLB degree. Minimum qualification to go for a course in law (LLB) is 10+2. Course duration is of 5 years and is sponsored by the Bar Council Of India. If you see its renumeration then Initially an articled clerk or apprentice earns a stipend of Rs 5000/- This will increase substantially over years of experience. In the government judicial service salaries range from Rs 5,000-9,000. you can see the txt file fore more information. |

As i know the minimum age to giving the Magistrate Exam is 21 years. and maximum age to giving the Magistrate exam is 35 year so if you have belongs to this age then you can give the Magistrate Exam. good luck......... |

The age limit for recruitment to Magistrate should be between 35 years to 45 years.
The selection for direct recruitment should be by the National Judicial Commission / UPSC and the promotees by the respective High Courts.... |

i hav completed my LLb degre in april 2010 n appeared 4 barcouncil of xam dis 6th march 2011 but how to become judge n magistrate ? how to apply for it? wats d age limit 4 open category n where the forms are available for judge magistrate exams can i apear 4 xam in dis 2011 n where books material v get 4 it plz req u to reply soon m doing LLm also simultaenously

respected madam,i completed my B.L in ths academic year 2011. can u say which time they conduct exams every year? and whether court practice is necessary for writing magistrate exam? such other details regarding writing different types of exams lik district judge, additional sessions judge; etc.plz explain about in detail.

sir my second llb is running and also preparation for civil services ,but now i am confuse for these 2 different lines .my dream will become an ias officer but my economic condition is not good so 1st condition at me i find job and clear my study so how i deal this condition ? |

am now at 31yrs age can i apply for magistrate Exam, if yes than when is the exam shcudle ? and what books i have to perfer for Exam? and I have Ernnrolled is April2008? is my eligibility is confirm for such exam? I have passed exam with IInd Division???

A magistrate is an officer of the Indian judiciary. Eligibility Students who have finished their graduation in Law are eligible to become magistrates. age should be more than 21 and must not exceed 35 years at the time of applying. Those candidates who have finished their LLM degree are also eligible to apply. The candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in their final exam. Best of luck!!!!! |
