What is the minimum and maximum limit of age for the post of Sub-Inspector under Assam Police Service for the session 2018-2019? Is there any ralaxation for OBC/ST/SC candidates?

The age limit for Sub Inspector of Assam Police Service is as below:

Minimum age limit: 20 years.

Maximum age limit is 24 years.

There is three years upper age relaxation for OBC and five years for SC/ST candidates.

The candidate who would like to apply for the post of Sub-Inspector for Assam Police Service should have basic eligibility :

- Candidate should have passed 10+2 in any stream

- Candidate should have diploma or A or B or C certificate of membership of National Cadet Corps or should have diploma in computer

- Age of the candidate should be 20 - 24 years. For the reserved category there is a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidate and 3 years for OBC candidates

- The height of the male candidate should be 162.56 cm applicable for all the category

The height of the female candidate should be 154.96 cm applicable for all the category.

Eligibility Criteria required to appear for Assam Police SI examination:

The candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree in any stream or equivalent from any recognized university.

The candidate age limit to apply for the exam is 20 - 24 years. Upper age limit is allowed for reserved category candidate as per the rules for Assam Government.

Written Test

Physical Efficiency Test

Extracurricular Activities

Computer Proficiency Test

Interview.

Maximum age- 34 years

Age relaxation for OBC should be 3 years and for SC/ST should be 5 years.

Age criteria for SI for Assam police service
Candidates age should be between in 21 to 24 years

Age relaxation are available for reserved categories
3 years for OBC
5 years for SC / ST categories

My age is now 35 and I want to join SI in Assam police,i belong from OBC so is there any chance to join in Assam police?
