I am serving in Army. I am 33 year old and I have completed 15 year service in Army. After deducting 15 year service from my actual age my age left is 17 year approx. So, am I eligible for Delhi Police and Uttar Pradesh Police Sub-Inspector post?

This is not the way to calculate age for competitive examinations.

The age limit for Police in Delhi or Uttar Pradesh is 20-30 years or 20-28 years. Upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of different category like:

OBC: three years.

SC/ST: Five years.

Ex Serviceman: Five years.

For becoming a police sub-inspector in Delhi police and Uttar Pradesh police, you have these eligibility criteria, which are mentioned below:-

1. Completion of graduation from any recognized board or university.

2. Nationality:- Indian.

3. Physically and mentally fit.

4. Age limit:- 21-35 years.

5. Age relaxation:- 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST and 8 years for Ex-servicemen.
