Your all India rank in AIEEE is enough to get chances of admission in most of the NITs.
There are chances that you may not get a particular branch in top 2-3 NITs but
most of the branches will be available for you in mostly NITs.

So, you should not worry for that part at least.

Now, it is the time to select the best possible option which maintains the balance
between your choice and AIR.

For that you should critically examine past years opening and closing rank of AIEEE
under various categories.

Your rank is good but here didn't mention that in which stream you wan to take admission.

Firstly, congratulations for obtaining such a good rank in AIEEEE.

It may be possible that you may not get top 2 or 3 NITs but you have very good opportunities in other NITs like NIT Allahbad , NIT Jaipur , NIT Kurukshetra ,etc.

For this you have to see all the opening and closing ranks of previous year in AIEEE carefully and examine that where are chance for you.

After seeing above ranks you have to make a list of colleges branchwise according to preference.

you have a good rank in AIEEE but tha rank to admission into top NITs vary every year.

so you should attend the counseling .

there are many NITs in India . some new NITs opened last year.

so i aspect that you will get admission into a college.

AIEEE is the popular entrance exam among the engineering student.
Every year a large number of candidate appear in this exam to test

Hey Hi ,

If EEE Branch In NIT Calicut is Your Choice Then I think,

Your ALL INDIA RANK (AIR) Should Be A Minimum Of 18000..

That would Get You your Desired Branch only In The 5th Round..

And If You Still Have A Better Rank Then I Think May Be You Can End Up Getting

Your Branch In May Be 2nd Or 3rd Round...
