i have completed MEd after BEd from NCTE approved university which is comprised of 1 year. so i want to know that whether am i applicable to apply for UGC NET. please give me the reply as early as possible. thanking you sir.

You have completed M.A in Education so you are eligible for UGC NET exam but you can fulfill below given criteria.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice time in year by UGC.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Age criteria for NET exam:-

For JRF Post :-Your age should be below 28 years.

For Lectureship Post :-There is no age criteria.

==>Candidate must having 55% aggregate in Master’s Degree or Equivalent Degree for ST/ SC/ OBC/ PwD/ Transgender/ EWS 50% need
==>Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) age limit is 30 years
==>For Assistant Professor No upper age limit
==> For Age relaxation Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe ,Other Backward Classes (OBC),Women,Persons with disabilities (PwD),Transgender is 5 year,Candidates possessing L.L.M. Degree gets 3 years relaxation,Candidates who have served in the armed forces can get
5 years relaxation
So as per eligibility criteria you are eligible
