dear sir,i am 26 and fall under obc category .please tell me whether i am eligible for afmc

A candidate who is at least 17 years can apply for this test. But if the candidate is over 25 years will not be eligible for the same. However if the candidate belongs to SC/ST or OBC category they can apply until they are 30years old. So since you belong to the OBC category you are eligible for this test. You can refer to the AFMC site to know further criteria that candidates applying for the test need to fulfill.

AGE LIMIT :
Must have not attained age of 22 years on the above mentioned date if the academic qualification of the candidate is 10+2 or equivalent.
A candidate with B.Sc.qualification must not have attained the age of 24 years
as your age has crossed the limit you can not apply for the AFMC exam.

you must have attained the age of 17 years.
And should be less than 22 years for the the academic qualification of the candidate is 10+2 or equivalent.
for A candidate with B.Sc. qualification the maximum age is 24 .
and so you can not apply for the exam.

Eligibility for AFMC :-

1.The candidate must have complete 12th in science with the combination of physics , chemistry, biology and english..

2.The candidate must have secured 60% aggregate in Physics, chemistry, bio-logy..
And must have secured 50% marks in english.
Also must have secured above 50% marks in each science subjects individually.

3.The candidate must have attained the age 17 years and must not have complete the age 21 years.
Not more than 24 years of age if the candidate is in B.Sc final year..

So, as you have mentioned that you have reached 26 year age then you are not eligibile
though you are from OBC category..

i m 26 year n have 57%in 12th.can i get admission on managment quota in medical college now

the age limit for this exam is 17-25. and also,

he candidate must have complete 12th in science with the combination of physics , chemistry, biology and english..

No dear you can't eligible for AFMC
because you have max age from the age criteria

Eligibility criteria for the entrance exam of AFMC-

1.Candidate should be citizen of India or a subject of Nepal,Bhutan or a person of India origin migrated from Pakistan or any other region or country .

2.Candidate must be unmarried ,marring during the course is not permitted .

3.Candidate should medically fit .

4.Mast have attend age of 17 year , must not attend age of 22 years.Relaxation of 2 years are given for the candidates who have passed or appeared for B.Sc.

So there is no relaxation for the OBC candidates in the notification .
That means you are not eligible for the exam .

Dear friend,

NO , You are not eligible for AFMC exam.

You must be completed 12th science with above 60% in PCM.

Also you must be score above 50 marks in Physics , Chemistry ,mathematics , English.

You must have also passed an examination in Mathematics at least of the matriculation standard.

A B.Sc candidate must have two subjects at the field of Science.

Also your your age should be in between 17 to 22 years(For 12th).

For B.SC candidate the maximum age limit is 24 years.
