How to fill AFMC entrance exam Form?
The AFMC entrance exam is carried out on a yearly basis by the Armed Forces Medical College as to offer admission to the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery course. The candidate who wishes to apply for the AFMC entrance exam should get the Prospectus and application forms from the designated centers by giving an amount of Rs. 250 or else the application can also be downloaded from the official websites.
Instructions to be followed for filling in form
The application forms downloaded from the official website must be printed in an A4 size paper. The application must be correctly filled with all the relevant details s per the official records. Duly filled application must be sent to the AFMC Pune along with a DD for an amount of 250/- . The applicant must also write the full name and the registration number on the back of the DD. The application obtained from the designated post office by paying an amount of Rs.250 through Bank Draft must also be dully filled and sent along with full postal address if the applicant.
Exemptions to be taken care while filling in form
The candidate must not forget to write their full name and registration number on the back of the DD. The candidate must also submit along with the application form, a self attested stamped envelope with the full address. The size of the envelop must be 11”x13”. The envelop must also be stamped with stamp of Rs. 60. The AFMC only accepts Bank drafts. The drafts must not be from any nationalized banks. The money must not be sent to the AFMC in no other ways other than DD. The money sent by Money order, cash or even through postal order will not be accepted by the AFMC.
Last date for receipt of applications
The application form and the prospectus of the AFMC entrance exam can be purchased from the designated test centers or through postal until the stock last or until 31st of January, whichever is the earliest. The candidates are also allowed to download the application form and the prospectus from the official website from 3rd week of December, 2010 until 31st January, 2011. The last date to submit the application form was 1st week of February, 2011.
