Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) conducts a national level entrance test for the selection of candidates to the MBBS course. Exam centers would be in major cities like Kolkota, Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, etc. Exam center can be chosen by the candidate according to their convenience/preference. This must be done at the time of submission of application, in which one can give three different choices of exam centers.

Applicant can select the most convenient center for attending the exam. They should indicate the same at the time of application process itself. Candidate has the option to mention three different choices of exam centers. One of the exam centers will be allocated to the candidate in the order of first come first serve basis.

Application form includes a separate column for specifying examination center. Available exam centers will be displayed in a pop up menu, from which candidate can select their preferred one. Selection of exam center must be carried out with at most care, as there is no provision to change it later. To avoid confusions in selecting exam center candidates must go through the AFMC exam prospectus before filling the application form.

Admits cards will be dispatched at least two weeks before the date of the exam. It may contain details on the exam venue allocated to the candidate. Candidates must reach the exam venue on their own and no expenses will be reimbursed. They must reach exam venue on time as mentioned in the hall ticket. Candidate should report the exam venue at least half an hour before the starting time. Late comers are not allowed to appear for the exam.
