Am I eligible to apply for CBSE NET exam under electronics subject after completion of M.Sc with Physics?


I have done M.Sc. with Physics. My specialization subject is Electronics. Can I apply for CBSE net exam under electronics subject? Am I eligible to do so? Can you please confirm me with the official information on the same? Awaiting for the quick response. Thanks!

Yes you are eligible for CBSE NET exam under electronic after M.Sc physics.

Eligibility for CBSE UGC NET:-

Candidate must have passed master degree and equivalent examination with minimum 55%(50% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC) aggregate marks from a recognized university.

Age limit for JRF :-

Age should not be more than 28 years.

Age limit for UGC NET:-

There is no upper age limit for assistant professor.

Yes definitely as you have completed your Masters course now you are eligible to appear for NET exam that is National Eligibility Entrance Test. To appear in this test a candidate must have completed minimum qualification of Masters course. As you have completed your MSc under electronics subject so you are eligible to apply for electronics subject.

Yes, Candidate you are eligible to apply for the TET(Teacher Eligibility Test) exam after having M.SC physics degree in electronics. Here below are details regarding the TET exam:-

>> Candidate the TET(Teacher Eligibility Test) is carried out for the Indian nationality candidates to determine the eligibility quality of the candidate and after exam candidate is awarded with Lectureship.

Eligibility required for TET exam:-

>> Candidate applying for TET exam must have done B.ED.

>> Candidate must have done graduation from government approved institute with minimum 55% marks.

>> Candidate must be Indian citizen.

Exam Details for TET:- There are two papers namely paper I and Paper II:-

Paper I:- For those candidate who is interested to become teacher of class I to class V.

Paper II:- For those candidate who are interested in teaching class VI to class VIII.

>> The exam for TET is objective type.

>> Exam is based on subjects like Language I (Selective) , Language II (Selective), Child development , Mathematics, Environmental studies.
