My name is subin and i am a graduate (Bsc biotechnology) and currently working as medical representative in zydus cadila but my passion is to get entry in to defence and i want to join indian airforce as an airman.I am 21 years of age.Am i eligible to apply for it as per my age.

If you want to join INDIAN ARMY then you have to should give CDS exam which is conducted by UPSC every year or you can go through SSC interview directly.

Indian Air force conducts Airman entrance exam for the group X
and Group Y. Group X is for Technical Trade and Group Y is for
Non Technical trade.
The eligibility required for both Group X and Group Y is given
below.

Group X exam eligibility
Education Qualification
Candidate should be 10+2 pass and should have physics
and Maths at 10+2 level. Those appeared in the 10+2 exam
are also eligible to apply for the group X exam.

Age Limit
Candidate age should be between 17 - 22 Years

Group Y exam eligibility
Education Qualification
For group Y candidate should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with science, arts, commerce subjects or equivalent vocational courses with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Age Limit
Candidate age should be between 17 -22 Years

Yes you can join in Indian Air Force by appearing in CDS exam.

CDS exam is conducted by upsc.This exam will held twice in a year.

you can easily apply to defence and even as a flying staff
you can directly apply to EXAM CDS
WAY TO DEFENCE
need to be graduated with any stream from a recognised university with aggregate 60%
and
apply in for
IMA 19-24
OTA 19-25
NA 19-23

and exam is going to held in september forms are still available in post offices

also apply AFCAT
age 19 23
graduation is enough

Here i am providing the various modes through which one can make his entry into the flying branch of Airforce.

1) Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE)

Eligibility :
-Unmarried male
-Belong to age group of 19-23 years
-Should of Indian
-Should have completed his graduation from a recognized university (with Physics, Mathematics, at 10+2)
-Final year students can also apply

2)National Cadet Corps Special Entry (Through CO NCC Unit / DG NCC)
As a air Wing Senior division 'C' certificate holder of the National Cadet Corps, you can apply to flying branch.

after completion of your graduation you are eligible for indian air force exam.

definitely you can join Indian Airforce.

to join in the IAF you have to give two exam which is conducted by the IAF for the general background candidate.

you have to give first a written test. then if you can qualified then you have to give SSB exam.

the criteria to attain in the IAF exam is

minimum graduation in qualification with 60% marks.

age limit 21-29 years.
