i got 59.8% in 10th class n 70 % in 12th class so i am able to attend the campus or not presently i am doing b.e & i am in first sem

I don't know why you are taking tension for placement from 1st year only,your's 12th and 10th percentage are not too bad,but you have to maintain 60% to get placement in PSU company and 70% for some private company.

So enjoy your college life with study too.

Maximum companies requires 60% through out
like INFOSYS,ACCENTURE,IBM

SOME OF COMPANIES GIVE RELAXATION OF 5% IN any exam 10th or 12th
like COGNIZANT,CAPGEMINI,SYNTEL, HONEYWELL, YOU SHOULD APPLY FOR THEM.

AND companies come with various criteria its depends.

59.8 % will be consider as 1st or 2nd division ????

No you're not allowed to sit in the placements before the final year or in some cases pre final years of your engineering. Therefore, for now just concentrate on improving your grades. As you don't have 60% marks in 10th, you may face trouble in order to sit for the placements. Therefore you should work hard in your engineering to fill this void and prepare a better cv

Depends on the individual requirements of each company.
Sompe do not consider class tenth or 12th marks.
65% is the minimum marks in graduation for most of the companies.
Other require 70% marks.

As for now you must focus on your course the placement will be in your final year
You must score good in all the semester so that you can apply for placement and get a good job in a good company
Most of the company requires you to score at least 65% in your boards but some companies also allows relaxation so you must not worry more and focus to score more in your semester as this may improve your chances to get a better placement
