Yes , you are equally eligible for admission in BTech 2nd year through lateral entry. Most of the lateral entry entrance exams require a 50% for admission. For further information regarding this, I am attaching the brochure of Haryana's LEET exam. It is a complete brochure , see attachment below.

yes you are elligible for lateral entry in b.tech as you are a diploma student and also a percentage of 60%. diploma students need a minimum of 50% to enter through lateral entry. you will have to appear in the exam and clearing that you can take admission.

yes offcourse you are elligible for lateral entry as you have secured 60% in your diploma . for lateral entry you must obtain 50% in your diploma . so you can take admission directly in 2nd year in b.tech.

Dear friend,
Of course you can apply for lateral entry exam since you have 60% marks in diploma
Only 50% marks are required to apply for lateral entry exam
You have to go to the collegiate education website of your state and from there you can get more details regarding the application forms etc.

I am doing diploma in ECE from Delhi Polytechnic and presently appearing in 5th semester.
I have secured more than 70% till 4th semester. Am I eligible for lateral entry exams of B.Tech

You are absolutely eligible for lateral entry to btech......You just need to write e-cet exam in andhra pradesh and can attend for counselling where you can get seat according to your rank.

Yes robbin,

As You are the Diploma Holder, You can eligible for B.Tech lateral Entry, Just participate in Counseling that was conducts there, and choose the branch that u desire, but keep in mind, u did diploma in CSE branch, so that you can't choose some other branches like Automobile engineering, aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering.....

There is a chance To study b.tech after completion of diploma. those students will write entrance exam conducted by college.

By lateral entry you will join in 2nd year of b.tech.

You have to pass that exam conducted by colleges.

In andhra pradesh you have to write edcet exam to join B.tech
