As per my Knowledge 7th Semester Engineering candidates are not eligible for CDS Examination . Only Final year candidates are eligible to apply for this Examination . So , after Completing 7th Semester your eligible to Apply for this CDS Examination.

Being Final Year candidate have to submit the Proof of Qualified in Engineering Course and You should not any arrears in previous semester then Only your eligible to apply for CDS Examination .

CDS stands for Combined Defence Service and this Examination is conducted by Union public Service Commission . This Examination is held every twice in a year . This CDS Examination having Army , Navy , Airforce and Officer training Academy.

The Minimum Qualification is require to Apply for this CDS Examination you should Complete Bachelor degree from recognized University .

Any stream candidates are eligible to apply for Army and Officer Training Academy , But only Science and Engineering candidates are eligible for Navy and Airforce academy .

Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination . There is no Minimum Percentage of marks require for this Examination .

Age Limitation for CDS Examination :-

## For Airforce Academy :- Your age should be 19 years to 23 years
## For Army Academy :- Your age should be 19 years to 24 years
## For Navy Academy :- Your age should be 19 years to 22 years
## For Officer Training Academy :- Your age should be 19 years to 25 years .


Other Criteria for CDS Examination :-

Marital Status :-

To apply for Officer training academy , both the Male and Female candidates are eligible .
To apply for Navy / Airforce / Army, academy you should be Unmarried male candidate .

Nationality :- You should be Citizen of India .

Physical Standard :- You should be Physically as well as Medically Fit .

yes, surely you are eligible for CDS exam as you are in 7th sem of engineering.
CDS stands for Combined Defence Services examination and Girls are apply for Officers Training Academy of CDS. This examination conducted by UPSC Twice in a year for the Recruitment of These Academy :

>> Indian Military Academy
>> Air Force Academy
>> Naval Academy
>> Officers’ Training Academy

The Eligibility Criteria are vary from Academy to Academy, But If you have completed your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognised University

Age Eligiblity :

>> For Air Force Academy : 19-23 Years
>> For Naval Academy : 19-22 Years
>> For Officers’ Training Academy :19-25 Years.

The Selection are based on written test, Interview and Medical Test. The examination is Objective and you have to cracked these Papers in OTA :

hello sir im study in b.e in mechanical engg i am completed my diploma in mechanical engg after ssc . can i give cds exam and can i join indian navy? plz plz sir reply.

Sorry to say that you can not give the paper of CDS entrance exam unless and until you complete your graduation course.
Only after getting a graduation certificate you will become eligible for the CDS(Combined defence service).
This exam is one of the standard exam in India as it conducted by the UPSC which mean union public service commission.

Education Qualification for the CDS (Combine defence service) is--->

Military Academy :--- Graduations Degree from a recognized University.
Air Force Academy :-- Graduations Degree with Physics and Mathematics as subjects from a recognized University.
Naval Academy :--Graduations degree with Physics or Mathematics from a recognized University.
Officer Training Academy :- Graduations Degree from a recognized University.

Age requirements are-->

Military Academy :: minimum 19 years and maximum 24 years.
Air Force Academy :: minimum 19 years and maximum 23 years.
Naval Academy :: minimum 19 years and maximum 22 years.
Officer Training Academy :: minimum 19 years and maximum 25 years.

You need to visit the official website of UPSC which is www.upsc.nic.in to fill the CDS 2015 form to seat in the entrance exam if you have completed your graduation degree course.
