in 10th std 88% and 12th 77% but in enginieering till 6th sem 56%...so, i am eligible for any company like infosys,tcs,cognizant? and ya for which company i am eligble?plz tell ...

For infosys

The minimum %requirement is more that 65% in b.tech but some time it increases to even 68% to be eligible for written test.

and also they didn't mention about any gap criteria

but they need a consistently excellent academic track record.

For TCS

Eligibility Criteria for TCS selection is :-
1.)need to have consistence 60% from 10th,12th and B.tech..
2.)Should not have more than 2years Education Gap....

For Cognigent

you need to have consistence 60% from 10th,12th and B.tech...



Seems you are not eligible as of now but you can try to get at-least 60% in more two semester which is left over.

Seems you are not eligible as of now but you can try to get at-least 65% so that ur aggregate crosses 60% and u can be eligible for other minor companies.

My friend wright now you are not eligible for campus drive of any leading software company..
As you don't have 60% aggregate throughout the B.tech..
I think the on-campus drives of these leading software companies for the up coming session has been started already.. So, you are not eligible for the on-campus drive..

Because the eligibility criteria for any leading IT companies are as follows-

*One should have 60% aggregate through out the career..
*One should not have any due backlogs during the graduation..
*One should not have a study gap more than two years..

As you don't have 60% aggregate throughout the career, so, you are not eligible for the on-campus drive..

But , if you work harder, and try to get at least over 60% aggregate through out the B.tech career, then I think you can appear in the off-campus drive of those sftware companies after being pass out..
work hard , and try to do well in the rest of the two semester, that your overall percentage will become 60%..

No you are not eligible for any campus placements because the minimum 60% marks are required for campus requirements.

somewhere it is mentioned that max 2yr. gap is allowed but somewhere it is mentioned dat less than 2 yr. i have 2 yr. gap . i m in doubt dat m i eligible or not ?!!!!

What does this mean??

If a student had a backlog in 3rd year but if he cleared it in final year.
Then will it be considered as an backlog(arrear)??.

the minimum requirement to sit in a campus placement and get selected in a good company is 65% and above..so u need to improve as much as u can..in ur final year..
though u still might be eligible for 1 or 2 of these companies..

So from those criteria it is clear that , as you have 56% in draduation you are not eligible in anyone of then .But you have time to recover your graduation result .So work heard .

The eligibility criteria for TCS,CTS :-

1)You must score 60% in through out in career.
2)Pending Backlog are not allowed.
3)Maximum 2 years gape are allowed.

The eligibility criteria for INFOSYS:-
1)You must score 65% in through out in career.
2)Pending Backlog are not allowed.
3)Maximum 2 years gape are allowed.

So you are not eligible for above companies.

Because your B-TECH marks is below 60%.

The Selection process for above companies:-

1)Aptitude Test.
2)Technical Test
3)Personal Interview.

you got nice percentage in 10th and inter but your B.Tech aggregate was not good.

the minimum percentage required is atleast 60%
for infosys it is 68% aggregate in B.Tech
for wipro it is around 60%
for tcs it is about 65%

Dear aspirant,
Your percentage is really low.
The minimum percentage being asked by any MNC is 60 or 65.
So, you have to work hard in order to get a good percentage.

TCS never take such candidates who has such a gap in between studies.

But if you have an experience of 2 to 3 years in any other companies hen you need not to think about your percentage.

Sometimes, according to the requirement of tough candidates they do increase the required percentage.
In such a situation you can proceed with any mid level company then jump into infosys after few years experience.

TCS never accepts backlogs.
It is a big problem with TCS.
But other companies do accepts.
There are some situations where they don't take such candidates.

I have 74&% in 10th and 82% in 12th and 52% in B.tech and i have 5 years of experience. Can i know eligible for applying for CTS and other companies? Please tell me. cant i apply for bigger companies now

Your score in 10th and 12th is great.
However, most of the above mentioned companies have the eligibility criteria of triple 65 i.e. you need to have minimum 65% or above in 10,12th and in B-Tech overall.

Since you are only in 6th semester, hence you have a chance to improve your score. Try to score above 70% so that after the completion of B-Tech, you may have the overall aggregate greater than 65%.

I got placed in Cognizant while pursuing my M.Tech and have offer letter of Cognizant. My acadamic details are 73.33% in 10th, 67.83 in 12th, 59.6% in B.E and 63.8% in M.Tech. I have one year gap in B.E. Will cognizant accept or reject me at the time of document verification?please help me.
