sir,i am a bca student.i have no any mathematics paper in bca(in any semester).but i have passed 10+2 level exam. with mathematics.what am i eligible for mca entrance 2011 without any mathematics paper in bca ?

don't worry about this.your eligible for the mca entrance exam.eligibility of mca

entrance exam is the candidates have graduate degree and the candidate have

maths subject in 12th level.those candidates have maths subject in 12th.the

candidates are eligible for the entrance exam.you are eligible for the entrance

Yes, of course you are eligible to write any kind of MCA entrance exam. Because most of the renowned MCA entrance tests require candidates to have maths in the 10(+2) i.e at the higher secondary level.

If you have passed your 12th exam with at least 50% marks and having maths as a main subject ,then you can surely apply for MCA entrance test.

So not having maths in BCA, will not affect your eligibility to apply for the entrance test for studying MCA.

MCA is a post graduatation in computer application so first you need to have graduation i.e can be either b.com,bsc or engineering or anything graduation degree..


For MCA there are two criteria either
Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level
or Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects in Bachelors degree of minimum three years duration..


comming to question how to apply for it you can apply MCA-CET which is conducted by most of the state or you can apply top universities which is having their own exam and you need to apply seprately for it..

Yes, you can apply for MCA for sure.

To apply for MCA you need a graduation degree like B.tech, BCA, BSC...

and mathematics in 10+2 is a must.

so you are absolutely eligible for MCA 2011....
