Yes, you are eligible for IAS after completing B.A. and LL.B. provided you fulfill all the eligibility criteria.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having either appear for the final Graduation Degree or pass or higher Degree from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate can apply for IAS. Yes,why not ,you are % eligible for the Civil services examinations as the minimum educational qualifications required for the this exams is bachelor's degree in any stream of your choice from a university that is recognized . As you done bachelor's degree in arts and law so undoubtedly you are eligible for it. The second most important eligibility criteria is that your age should be between 21-30 years .If you are from obc or sc/st category then you will have age relaxation of three years and five years respectively. You must have Indian Citizenship. After satisfying all these criteria ,if you interested in giving the civil services examinations this year you can fill online form at www.upsconline.nic.in The important dates are as follows: Date of notification:05/03/2013 Last date of receiving application:04/04/2013 Date of examination:26/05/2013. The examination has three stages that are: 1.Preliminary stage 2.Main examinations. If you clear these two stages then you will be called for the personal interview. One important thing is that if you are from general category then you will get only four attempts .Obc candidates have seven attempts and SC/ST has no limit. B.A is sufficient to make you eligible for IAS Examination which is also known as Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC.
So don't worry and apply for it if you have completed your B.A from a recognised University. The notifications was announced on March 5th and you can apply for it by visiting UPSC website http://www.upsconline.nic.in Age Criteria for Civil Services Exam: The age should be between 21 to 30 years if you are General Category. There is age relaxation available for other categories. SC/ST Category - 5 years relaxation OBC Category - 3 years relaxation So if your age is according to the above criteria then no problem for you. Examination Pattern: The selection will be based on the 3 stages: -CSAT -Mains -Interview If you are in merit then you will be selected for IAS Officer post. Percentage not required for this exam. Final year pursuing candidates are eligible. The candidate minimum age limit is 21 years. Candidate maximum age limit is 30 years.
